One image check = one <img> tag scanned on a page. If a page has 30 images and you scan it, that's 30 checks. Your quota resets on the 1st of each month.
Yes. Your existing PayPal subscription will be replaced with the new plan. You can upgrade from your Dashboard or by contacting support.
Yes. Cancel anytime from your PayPal auto-pay settings or contact us. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. No long-term contracts.
Paste a public URL, and the checker reads every <img> tag on the page. It flags images with missing, vague, or duplicate alt text, and suggests a fix for each row. No browser extension or CMS plugin required.
No. The scanner can only read public web pages accessible from the internet. Password-protected storefronts, localhost, and staging sites behind a login wall won't work. Use a public product page or a live preview URL instead.
No. Product Alt Lab generates the CSV you need. You import it into Shopify's bulk editor yourself. This keeps your store independent — no app permissions or store install required.
We use PayPal for all payments. You can pay with your PayPal balance, linked bank account, or credit/debit card through PayPal's secure checkout. No card details are stored on our servers.
The CSV includes columns for image URL, current alt text, issue type, suggested alt text, and explanation. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets, and imports into Shopify's bulk editor. UTF-8 encoded.
