1. Information We Collect

Free scans (no account): We process the URL you submit to fetch the page HTML and extract image alt text. We do not store the URL or scan results beyond the duration of the request.

With Google sign-in: We collect your email address and Google account name to identify your account. We do not access your Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google service data.

Paid plans: Payment processing is handled entirely by PayPal. We do not store your credit card, bank account, or PayPal credentials. We receive subscription status notifications from PayPal.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: (a) provide the scanning and alt text suggestion service; (b) manage your subscription and account; (c) respond to support requests; (d) improve the Service based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Scan results for free users are processed in memory and not persisted. Paid users' scan history is stored in Cloudflare D1 and retained according to the plan (7 days to 1 year). You may request deletion of your account data at any time.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to maintain your login state. No tracking cookies or advertising cookies are used. We use Plausible Analytics (privacy-first, no cookies) for anonymous usage statistics.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: (a) Cloudflare — hosting and D1 database; (b) PayPal — payment processing; (c) Google OAuth — authentication; (d) Plausible Analytics — anonymous analytics; (e) Cloudflare Workers AI — AI alt text generation. Each service has its own privacy policy.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access your personal data; (b) request correction or deletion; (c) withdraw consent for data processing; (d) request a copy of your data. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
